Melanoma – 360° Treatment & Support

Ongoing Care and Secondary Prevention

You are not alone. We’re here to support, advise, and monitor — especially for patients with melanoma or other types of skin cancer. At On.Top, we provide comprehensive 360° care that covers every stage of the process, from the moment of diagnosis through recovery. With complete therapeutic support under one roof and personalized, attentive care, we aim to make the journey as smooth as possible.

Our Belief

At On.Top, we believe in a holistic 360° approach to care.

With our close familiarity and extensive experience treating melanoma and other skin cancers — including basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) — we understand the critical importance of comprehensive support.

Our philosophy views every patient as a whole world, and the care system we’ve built is designed to ease the burden for both patients and their families. That starts with offering, in one place (one of the only centers in Israel to do so), both a dermatologist and an oncologist, working together to diagnose and treat skin cancers. This setup minimizes the need for running between different doctors and ensures optimal coordination among all medical professionals.

It continues with a fully integrated treatment plan under one roof, using cutting-edge tools at every stage:

  • Early diagnosis
  • Digital mole mapping
  • On-site biopsy and lesion removal
  • Oncological care and support
  • High-risk follow-up
  • Secondary prevention

Our 360° approach is a support network throughout the entire journey. Alongside the latest technologies and AI-assisted tools, we deeply believe in the power of human intelligence — availability, empathy, and involving patients in every decision.

Our Experience Shows:

The 360° approach is crucial to patient outcomes in melanoma and skin cancer. It ensures a personalized, thorough response to every aspect of illness and recovery — far beyond basic medical treatment.
We embrace a holistic philosophy that provides continuous, in-depth support from early detection to returning to everyday life. This includes addressing emotional and administrative needs as well.
Knowing that you are in the best hands, in one place, and throughout the entire process — makes all the difference.
From early diagnosis, through a treatment plan tailored to your exact needs, to consistent follow-up that reduces the risk of recurrence — we’re with you all the way.
We also support you beyond the clinic, with tools and guidance for self-monitoring, helping you return to a healthy and active routine, and regaining a sense of control and confidence.

High-Risk Surveillance and Secondary Prevention

High-risk follow-up and secondary prevention are intended for individuals with an increased risk of developing skin cancer, or those with a history of skin cancer.

The goal is to identify signs of new or recurring cancer as early as possible, enabling timely treatment and reducing potential harm.

At On.Top, we have deep experience and advanced knowledge in closely supporting patients who meet these criteria, through regular and thorough follow-up exams.

Our Recommended Follow-Up Schedule:

  • Every 3 months in the first year after diagnosis of melanoma or Merkel cell carcinoma
  • Every 6 months after diagnosis of non-melanoma skin cancer, or from the second year onward for melanoma or Merkel
  • In some cases, lifelong annual follow-up may be necessary

In addition to in-clinic testing, we’ll teach you how to be more aware of your skin health, how to conduct self-exams, and what signs to look out for — both for yourself and your family members.

Most importantly, we want you to know: we’re here for you — for every question, concern, or need — so that you always have a reliable, personal point of contact.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Service

At our center, you’ll find a dedicated team of experts — experienced medical professionals focused on the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and skin cancer, along with an administrative team to support you with all logistics and coordination.

What Should I Ask About the 360° Approach?

Our approach encourages patients to be actively involved and take part in the treatment process. We believe in the power of collaboration and see how it contributes to healing and recovery.

The knowledge and expertise we’ve gathered are fully at your service — and we invite you to learn more about our approach and to ask the medical team anything that’s important or meaningful to you during the follow-up process.

Here are some helpful example questions:

  • What types of treatments and tests will be performed during follow-up?
  • If I experience severe side effects, who should I contact, and how is it managed?
  • Will I have direct access to the medical team?
  • Are there routine tests to detect recurrence early?
  • How is the treatment plan tailored to my individual needs?
  • Will my treatment include innovative or advanced methods?
  • How often will I need to come in for follow-up visits, and how long will they take?
  • What should I do if new symptoms appear?
  • Will I receive instructions on how to check my own skin for changes?
  • Are there apps or technologies that can help me track skin changes?
  • How is care handled in emergency situations or complications?

We are here to provide a complete picture — with maximum transparency and attentive care — all to help you return to a healthy routine as quickly as possible.

The standard of care for melanoma and skin cancer in Israel is among the most advanced in the world — and our center’s experts are also part of the public healthcare system and deeply committed to it.

However, it’s well known that the public system is increasingly overburdened, and availability of appointments can be a significant challenge.

When it comes to skin cancer, time is critical.

At the On.Top Specialist Center, we focus exclusively on these conditions, offering:

  • High availability under one roof
  • Access to advanced technologies
  • Personalized care
  • Continuous, streamlined treatment
  • And reduced administrative hassle — often in collaboration with private health insurance

All of this is designed to save precious time and make your experience as smooth and supportive as possible.

High-risk surveillance and secondary prevention are critical tools for reducing the likelihood of developing skin cancer. They are especially recommended for:

First and foremost:

  • Individuals with a personal history of melanoma or non-melanoma skin cancers (such as BCC, SCC, or Merkel cell carcinoma)

Also at risk:

  • Patients with precancerous skin lesions, such as actinic keratoses
  • Patients with dysplastic (atypical) moles

Primary prevention is also recommended for:

  • Patients with a family history of skin cancer
  • Individuals with weakened immune systems (e.g., due to HIV, organ transplantation, or chemotherapy)
  • Patients with numerous moles, especially those with more than 50–100 moles
  • Individuals with fair skin, freckles, or a tendency to burn easily from sun exposure
  • Those with prolonged UV exposure (due to work, outdoor sports, or tanning beds)
  • Carriers of genetic mutations that increase skin cancer risk

Our recommendation:

Establish a regular routine of self-examinations and scheduled visits to the On.Top Specialist Center.
